In his basement, hidden under a layer of dust and dirt, a small gap seemed to call out to him. When he tried to look inside it, all he could see was deep, impenetrable darkness, even when he shone his flashlight into it. It seemed as though the gap led nowhere, a mysterious space hidden within the walls of his old family home.

Yet, his chickens seemed strangely attracted to it. They would stare into the gap and pace around nervously, making loud clucking noises and looking at Murat as if they were waiting for him to act. But what could he do? The wall seemed to be hiding nothing but darkness.

As he touched the cold, rough stones surrounding the gap, he could sense the weight of their history. Each stone told a story, and as Murat’s fingers traced the lines of time on them, he couldn’t help but wonder if the disappearing chickens were somehow linked to the strange gap. It was a bizarre thought, but one he couldn’t shake off.
