Next to the crocodile was a piece of open pier just big enough for one foot at a time. George thought maybe he could sneak past it without touching the crocodile and get out of this situation safely.

But as soon as he tried to move, the crocodile reacted. It was as if he was responding to George’s energy and movements, trying to stop him. And what he did left George unable to move.
