Time to think

During the drive to the lake, George had more time to think about what his wife had said and the situation with the crocodiles. His brain dismissed it as nothing to worry about—he wouldn’t be attacked by a crocodile.

He had never heard of anyone actually getting hurt, and eventually convinced himself it was probably just the news making a big deal out of nothing. But he could not have been further from the truth.
