17. Use balls of aluminium foil to stop clothes getting static

You can use balls of aluminium foil instead of dryer sheets in case you’ve run out, or just want a cheap alternative. Make three balls out of the foil that are all about the size of your hand. Add these to your clothes in the tumble dryer and just put it on the programme you normally use. Your clothes won’t be static anymore, because the foil will absorb all of the electric charge. That means your clothes will be less prone to fluff and dirt clinging to it.
